Course & Conference

Course at the workshop

One week course at the workshop with Jean-Marc from Canada.

His long stay with us allowed him to make a more advanced and complex stained glass which he took home afterward.

On the first picture, you can see various stages of his work. On the left, the on-going crimping, in the middle the original drawing and last, the glass already cut.

Course in Grasse

Course of one week with the works council of the Caisse d'Epargne in the city of Grasse.

After their arrival, the participants started directly, all the material being at their disposal during these courses.

First, they each made a first stained glass window with the help of the master glassmaker. Then a second whith more autonomy in the making. Finally, they worked on a common piece with great freedom.

Conference at the workshop

Two-hour conference at the Théoule-sur-Mer workshop with L'Ecole Buissonnière.

This intervention allowed a dozen students and their teachers to discover the stained glass window art and history. The glass has been presented from its origins to the present day through its modern manufacturing methods.

We can see that some students wanted to cut the glass, under the careful supervision of the master glassmaker.
